We have an experienced, talented and dedicated team that is made up of diverse, enthusiastic, results-driven individuals who play an integral role in GFA Chamber’s success.
Mary has been a resident of Farmington/Farmington Hills since 1997. Mary has participated in many facets of the community starting her volunteer experience as a religious education teacher at Our Lady of Sorrows. She continued to serve the community as a volunteer in the Main Street Organization Committee and served as the interim Downtown Development Authority Director for Farmington in 2005. Mary was instrumental in developing the concept of the very first Harvest Moon Celebration, now over 10 years running. There is currently a namesake Community Leadership Award in her name, The Mary Martin Service Award, which has been awarded every year since 2005.
Mary’s professional experience stems from an 18-year history with the IBM Corporation. Her most recent position as Internal Auditor included assessing process risk across global locations in North and South American, Europe and Asia. Mary’s current position is that of Executive Director of the Greater Farmington Area Chamber of Commerce, which is both challenging and yet rewarding as she takes on this new adventure in public service.
Mary has four children and two grandchildren and is often shopping and volunteering at the Farmington Farmers and Artisans market on Saturdays.
Marcia Rodeheffer joined the Chamber in October 2015 as Director of Membership Development. She was an Ambassador with the Chamber for the past 5 years and comes with over 20 years of sales and marketing experience. People are her passion, and she makes it no secret in her work approach. She never shies away from a business challenge and is always eager to roll up her sleeves and find a solution. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Communication and passionate about connecting people and businesses to meet their needs. In her free time, Marcia enjoys outdoor activities, soccer, reading and spending time with her husband and three daughters.
Kate MacEwen joined the Greater Farmington Chamber in February 2017. She brings 14+ years of fund development experience, including major gifts, grant writing, special events, capital campaigns, social media, marketing and annual fund campaigns. After 14 years in fundraising, Kate decided to switch careers and started working for her family's business, ezbake technologies, a company that produces ingredients for large scale bakery food manufacturing. While she enjoys working for her family's company as the VP of Business Development, she missed doing events and interacting with the public. Kate was excited when she found a part-time job at the Chamber that allowed her to do both. Kate has an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in voice performance and political science, and a master's degree from Eastern Michigan University in Arts Administration. Kate lives right outside Ann Arbor, is the proud owner of a pack of Sptizes, and enjoys spending time with her family's horse, a 19 hand Percheron draft.
